Hacking happens when scammers use key logging software to capture everything you type.
- Use strong passwords and turn on multi-factor authentication if available
- Keep operating system and internet browser updated
- Only enter debit card information using secure websites accessed via private Wi-Fi networks
- DO NOT use the same password for several logins, especially online banking
- DO NOT store debit card information on your browser
- DO NOT enter debit card information using a public/open Wi-Fi (i.e. free Wi-Fi)
