Rate information: Prospective dividend and interest rates along with calculated APYs for accounts are set forth above as of (July 5, 2026). The APY is a percentage rate that reflects the total amount of interest or dividends to be paid on an account based on the rate and frequency of compounding for an annual period. The APY assumes that funds remain on deposit until maturity or one full year for non-maturing accounts. Rally Credit Union uses the Daily Balance method to calculate earnings on your account. Withdrawal of earnings or early withdrawal of principal will reduce the APY. Rally’s rates are variable and may change at any time, impacting the APY.
"40X Better Earnings Than National Average" is calculated based on rates as of June 12, 2025. Rates are subject to change. National average based on the weekly national rate caps updated on the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) website. Updates can be viewed by clicking here. Rates are based on a simple average of banks for which data is available. Credit union deposit rates are not included in the national average.
Liberty Checking and Liberty Plus Checking are premier, free checking accounts that pay interest on your balance and deliver ATM fee refunds when qualifications are met. Liberty Checking and Liberty Plus Checking are blended rate tier accounts. Each tier corresponds to a range of account balances, APYs and interest rates. The interest rate is paid on the portion of your balance within each tier. Monthly qualification criteria applies to earn tiered rate. Liberty Checking APY decreases as deposit amount increases. The advertised APY of 3% is calculated based on a balance of $25,000. The APY of 0.25% is calculated based on a balance of $250,000 for the top tier.
When qualifications are met, ATM Fee Refunds of $4.99 or less will automatically be reimbursed up to a maximum of $4.99 per individual transaction. ATM fees of $5.00+ will be reimbursed if requested; an ATM receipt may be required. The maximum ATM fee refund cap is $25.00 monthly. If there's a month you don't meet the qualifications, there's no penalty and you still have a free checking account that earns a base annual percentage yield. Rate is subject to change without notice. Minimum deposit of $20.00 to open the account. Fees, such as Insufficient Funds or Account Inactivity, could reduce monthly earnings.
