One of the latest scam techniques involves “spoofing” a phone number, meaning that when they call you, it appears that they are calling from a legitimate number.
These scammers will appear to be calling from NavyArmy Community Credit Union, leading you to believe the call is genuine and that they are a representative from NavyArmy. The fraudster then claims that a fraudulent charge has been made on your account and asks you to confirm your identity.
While NavyArmy actively monitors your account for potential fraud, please remember that we will never initiate a call or email asking you to disclose any security details such as your PIN # or CVV.
If you have any doubt about the legitimacy of a phone call you receive from NavyArmy, please hang up and call immediately at 361-986-4500 or 1-800-622-3631.
