Travel Tips for a Safer (and Happier) Holiday Season
- Notify Us of Travel: If you plan to travel out of town or country, call us at 1-800-622-3631 to let us know. We monitor accounts for fraudulent activity and may suspend an account if we suspect criminal activity.
- Leave Non-Essential Cards at Home: Avoid carrying cards you don’t plan to use, such as social security or extra debit cards.
- Choose ATMs Wisely: Use ATMs located at credit union branches whenever possible. Stand-alone ATMs are more susceptible to card-skimming due to less security.
- Be Cautious with Public Wi-Fi: Avoid accessing sensitive information, like your online banking, on unsecured or public Wi-Fi networks as they are vulnerable to hackers.
